Tiptree 10 mile road race is run through quite country lanes to the north of Tiptree.
The event over a predominantly flat course (there are a couple of hills between miles 8 & 9 to keep it interesting!) and will be fully marshalled by members of Tiptree Road Runners, who will be there to ensure your safety and also provide some vocal encouragement and support. An attractive course, mainly on rural roads, giving you the opportunity to enjoy some scenic Essex countryside.
Entry Cost £ 14 Affiliated / £ 16 Non Affiliated plus £5 on the day entry.
Entry Limit - 500. 2013 and 2012 finishers -290 and 480 respectively.
A key beneficiary from the race will be Essex Air Ambulance – a charity which the event has supported for a number of years. We also make significant donations to other local charities.
2014, for the first time ever, Tiptree Road Runners will also be hosting a 1 mile Fun Run on the fields at Thurstable School, starting at 9.45 am on the day. Entry is only available on the day will be just £1 with all finishers (whatever their age) receiving a medal and some goodies, so please bring your friends and families along on the day – everyone is welcome!.
