Using a combination of the St. Edmunds Way, Stour Valley Path and the Essex Way, the Stour Valley marathon covers 27miles of tracks, trails, roads and byways along the route. Keeping with the tradition of this event over the many years that it has been running, it will be predominantly a self navigation, but we will have fully stocked aid stations and checkpoints at approximately 6,11,15 & 20.5 miles.

MARATHON

DISTANCE: Approximately 27 “country” miles
PRICE: £25 (Affiliated) £27 (Unaffiliated) – All finishers will receive a technical T-Shirt and choice of medal design. A stock of the old horseshoe design exists and will be given to the first runners who request on their online entry.
CUT-OFF: 8 Hours, participants must be through the halfway point within four hours
MINIMUM AGE: 18
 

HALF MARATHON

DISTANCE: Half marathon, approximately 14 “Country” miles.
PRICE: £18 (Affiliated) £20 (Unaffiliated) 
CUT-OFF: Four Hours
MINIMUM AGE: 18
