Overview
Race the St Helena Hospice Half Marathon in Harwich and be part of something incredible. This special half marathon is a brand new race from the team at St Helena Hospice who are celebrating forty years of providing compassionate care to the local community. By participating, you'll be helping St Helena to continue its care for the next generation. And, you'll get to enjoy a cracking race day too!

Running for a cause
St Helena Hospice is a Colchester based charity which provides specialist palliative and end of life care to local people facing incurable illness in north east Essex, supporting them, their families, friends and carers. They also provide help for those struggling with grief following the death of a loved one, regardless of where or how they died. As a charity, they rely heavily on the help and generosity of their fundraisers, donors and volunteers. This is event is registration only with no fundraising target, however St Helena Hospice are inviting all their runners to donate or fundraise £40 to mark their 40th anniversary. Every step you take, every mile you run and every pound you raise will empower them to continue their work in your community.

If you select to register for the race on a HEROES ticket, then your entry will include a donation to help cover costs of the St Helena Hospice 24/7 SinglePoint helpline. It's the small things that can make the biggest difference.
